Welcome to PackSync ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share your information when you use our mobile application ("App") and website.

2. Information We Collect

A. Location Data (Core Feature)

PackSync is a group riding application. To function, we collect and process your precise location data in real-time, even when the App is running in the background. This allows other riders in your "Pack" to see your position on the map. This data is:

  • Only shared with members of the active session you have joined.
  • Not stored permanently on our servers as a historical track log for public view.
  • Stopped immediately when you leave a Pack or close the App.

B. Audio Data

We process audio from your microphone to facilitate real-time Voice Chat. This audio is transmitted via encrypted VoIP (Voice over IP) channels specifically to other users in your session. We do not record or store your voice conversations.

C. Account Information

When you create an account, we may collect your name, email address, profile picture (Avatar), and bike details. This helps identify you to your friends on the map.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide the core services: Real-time map positioning and voice communication.
  • To manage your subscription and free trial status.
  • To send improved riding stats (e.g. speed, distance) to your connected friends.
  • To maintain and improve the security and performance of our infrastructure.

4. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only in the following circumstances:

  • With Your Pack: Your location, speed, name, and voice are shared instantly with other users in your active session.
  • Service Providers: We use trusted third-party cloud providers (e.g., for authentication, database hosting, serverless functions) to run our service.
  • Legal Obligations: We may disclose information if legally required to do so by law or subpoena.

5. Data Deletion

You make request full deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting support or using the "Delete Account" feature within the App settings.
